Congratulations to Philippe Landry on winning the Canadian Association of Physicists' Division of Theoretical Physics (DTP) and the Winnipeg Institute for Theoretical Physics' (WITP) Thesis Prize for his Ph.D. thesis titled "Tidal Response of a Rotating Neutron Star in General Relativity [1]".
The DTP/WITP Thesis Prize is awarded to a student receiving a Ph.D. degree in Physics from a Canadian University, whose thesis is in theoretical physics and completed less than two years before January 15th of the year of the Prize. This year's prize will be presented at the annual Theory CANADA conference, which will take place at St. Francis Xavier University from June 7-9, 2018.
