Professor Liliana Caballero wrote an opinion piece for the Canadian Science Policy Centre (CSPC) website titled "Wonders of a Woman in Physics [1]" just following International Women’s Day addressing some of the challenges women face in scientific fields while commenting on her departmental initiative, the Women in Physics Lunches.
CSPC is a non-partisan, national forum where individuals from industry, academia, science-based governmental departments and the general public meet to discuss the science policy issues and propose appropriate action. Since 2009, it has brought together Canada’s premier leaders to an annual conference to examine pressing science policy issues of the day.
