Delta Guelph Conference Centre
Details
The 7th Annual Nano Ontario Conference, hosted by the University of Guelph, will take place on November 10th and 11th, 2016 at the Delta Guelph Conference Centre. The themes for this year’s conference are Nanobio and Sustainability, which are two very important areas for nanoscience and nanotechnology. Sustainability in energy, water, and materials is becoming increasingly important to society, and nano offers great possibilities for developing novel approaches to sustainable technologies. Biological materials and mechanisms inspire many approaches in nanoscience and nanotechnology, and this brings new fundamental understanding and a wide range of applications in industry and medicine.
The conference features four Keynote Presentations by John Katsaras (Oakridge National Laboratory), Alejandro Marangoni (University of Guelph), Molly Shoichet (University of Toronto), and Greg Scholes (Princeton University), as well as 9 invited talks by Nanotechnology leaders and an Industry-Academia Panel Discussion.
